Alexander Poulis

Alexander Peter Poulis, aged 92, peaceably passed away on June 4, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alex was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 17, 1930 to the late Peter Alexander Poulis and Helen (nee Stamatopoulos) Poulis. Alex served in the US Air Force, owned Alexian Carpet Company in St. Louis, and worked for and was the Manager of Cloud Carpet in Las Vegas for 40 years. Alex enjoyed being in sales and management at Cloud Carpet, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, going to lunch with his friends, and was known among family and friends for his independent and unique spirit. Alex is survived by his daughter, Ellie (Poulis) Wideman, son-in-law, Shawn Wideman, granddaughters, Mikaela and Marissa Wideman, godson, Tony Karagiannis, and his beloved co-workers and friends.

Visitation in Las Vegas will be held on Friday, June 9th, from 10:00am-12:00pm at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.
