Stephen Redmond

Stephen Alan Redmond, 68, of Henderson, NV, passed away on 5/21/2023 in Las Vegas, NV.

Stephen was born in San Diego, CA to Emery and Beverly Redmond on 2/8/1955. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen completed 37 years of employment for the federal government. He was retired from his job as an electrician at Hoover Dam. He attended San Diego State University and La Mesa High School. He was active in the marching band at both schools, but was most remembered as the Drum Major at La Mesa. He loved playing his piano, guitar and ukulele. He was passionate about evangelism and enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle, particularly riding his bicycle on any day it was not too windy.

Stephen is survived by:

· Wife Tamara Taylor Redmond;

· Children Joshua and Jen Redmond, Sarah and Tim Test, Julie and Zephyr Elgee, and John Taylor Hudson;

· Siblings Glenn and Laurie Redmond, Gary Redmond, and William and Donna Redmond;

· Grandchildren Aidan Helme, Kayla Helme, Davin Redmond, and Adalynn Redmond.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday June 7, 2023 at Davis Funeral home. Hawaiian shirts suggested in Steve’s honor.
