Diane Norris passed away suddenly at home on January 19, 2023. Fiercely independent, Diane was a treasured daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother who lived many lives and had so many stories to tell. Fiercely private, she would hate a public obituary.
Born in New Jersey in 1949, Diane was the oldest of four, and spent her youth training as an opera singer, ultimately performing at Carnegie Hall in 1967. She was a scuba diver, assistant to her husband’s law practice, and had plans to live on an island. Motherhood followed, and this vagabond traded her scuba tank for a career in real estate, raising her two children in Connecticut, later obtaining her Masters degree in computer science and working for America Online.
A move to Ohio followed in 2000, where Diane built her real estate practice and adopted animals. Diane moved to Las Vegas in 2012 to be closer to her daughter, and upon retiring from real estate she found her passion in creating art, forming her online store Three Cats Boutique and selling jewelry and paper craft. Most recently, for her next adventure, Diane planned to obtain her Italian passport, and decided she would like to move to France and run a B&B, so much so that she was teaching herself French.
Diane is survived by her grieving family, including her sisters Adrienne Pollard, Annette Prezioso, and her brother Richard Prezioso (Jacquie); her children Stacy Norris Siekmeier (David) and Brett Norris (Julie), her beloved grandchildren Aurora, Troy, and Zoey, and her beloved cats Leland and Uno. Diane is reunited in heaven with her parents, Alexander and Lola Prezioso, her dogs Jette, Cinnamon, and Max, and her cats Shadow, Samantha, Armondo, Amos, and Aries. We miss you so much, and we love you forever.
