Abie B. Garcia

Abie Garcia, 62, went home to the Lord on March 28, 2018. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and husband and a caring friend to so many. He was born in Albuquerque, NM but lived many years in Las Vegas. He worked at and mastered his art and trade of cement masonry with an extensive 35 year career. Abie loved road trips, classic rock, the ocean, hiking in the mountains, fresh air, red chile, yard sales, going to church and staying active. He had a strong faith in the Lord and knew that there is eternal life after this one. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, as well as his parents. He
is survived by his two loving daughters, his grandson and his rescue pup, Crazy Boy. Abie was the best dad we could ever have asked for; he taught us so much and loved us unconditionally. There are no words to describe how greatly he will be missed, but he will be forever alive in our hearts. A visitation and rosary will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the chapel at Davis Funeral Home located at 6200 S. Eastern Ave. in Las Vegas. There will also be a memorial mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Henderson on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:00 am.
