Obituary

Abraham Jezer “Ram” Mendoza Digan, 36, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away in his sleep at his residence on June 3, 2026.

Ram was born in Manila, Philippines, to Gamaliel S. Digan and Bessie M. Digan on October 21, 1989.

Ram loved the Blessed Mother and the Catholic Church. He participated in a lot of religious feasts and festivities. He was well-versed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and was a defender of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He knew how to have fun and to make the most of every moment. His smile, laughter, cheerfulness, and playfulness will be remembered by everyone who knew him. There was never a dull moment with him, and many people will attest to that. He graduated from Angono Private High School and received his bachelor's degree in nursing from Centro Escolar University. He passed his nursing licensure exam in the Philippines, but he chose a different career path. He had work experience in other fields, and he did it well no matter what it was. He was a transporter at Sunrise Hospital, and he worked his way up until he became a supervisor at Amazon. He had a great eye for beauty, and a strong sense of aesthetics. He liked to dress up and look sharp and was delighted when others were the same. His life was not without challenges, but he believed and always said, “May awa ang Diyos (God is merciful)”.

Ram is preceded in death by his mother Bessie M. Digan. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Maria R. Mendoza and Gonzalo S. Mendoza, and paternal grandparents: Evangeline S. Digan and Lingkod A. Digan.

Ram is survived by his siblings: Isser Harrel M. Digan (and wife Eden Grace U. Digan), Eva Marie D. Taylor (and husband Aaron K. Taylor), Ferdinand M. Digan, and Patricia Nicole P. Digan (and husband Kris J. Murillo), his father and stepmother Gamaliel S. Digan and Agnes P. Digan, his beloved aunt Felicitas R. Mendoza, and the rest of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Henderson, Nevada, with Father Simine Fernandez of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, officiating. His final resting place will be with his mother and grandmother at IFI Tipas Cemetery in the Philippines.
