Adelaide Susan Bohn
79, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on February 22nd , 2018 surround by her family after a tough fight with cancer. Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Eastern Ave on Tuesday the 27th from 8:00 pm - 10:00pm. Funeral will be held on Wednesday at St Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E Flamingo Road at 11:30 am.
Susan was born in Queens, NY on December 10th, 1938 to Fredrick Bohn and Adelaide (Stoeckert) Bohn. She was predeceased by her brother Richard bohn, her sister that served as a Dominican Nun in the catholic church Sister Loretta Bohn, and her son Mark Kistner.
Susan is survived by her siblings Fredrick Bohn and his wife Kim, Stephen Bohn and his wife Patricia, as well as her children Ted Kistner and his wife Anne- Marie, Joe Kistner and his wife Nancy, Stephen Kistner and his wife Tonya, Suzanne Murphy and her husband Jack, and Veronica Kistner.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Ted and Crystal Kistner, Joey and Rachel Kistner, Stephen Kistner, Mark Ferwerda, John Fahey and Abigail Kistner, John Murphy and Alicia Long, Josh, Lacy, Anna, and Rebecca as well as her great grandchildren Delaney and Heather, Riley and Dominic, George, and many nieces and nephews.
Susan was a long-time resident of Las Vegas and was actively involved in the Red Hat Society. Growing up on the east coast, she loved the ocean and was an avid swimmer. She worked hard her entire life to ensure that she provided for her children. Her children were her life, and she loved traveling and visiting with them. An entrepreneur all of her life, she engaged in many ventures. As a sales professional, she truly knew how to go after whatever she wanted. The word ""can't"" was never in her vocabulary. She loved living the Las Vegas lifestyle and thoroughly enjoyed all the wonderful friends she made here over the years.
