Alejandra “Lally” Mundala Westley, age 69, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, under the loving care of her husband and family.
Born on July 12, 1956, Lally was the second daughter of the late Rosita Tapalla and Alejandro Mundala. A native of Dulag, Leyte, Philippines, Lally, as she was affectionately known, attended primary school at Murphy Elementary School, graduated from Juan Sumulong High School, and later received her degree in Business Administration with a major in Banking and Finance from the Philippine School of Business Administration in Manila.
Lally’s professional career began as an accounting clerk for Tropical Hut, a popular grocery and fast-food chain, where she rose to accounting supervisor. At home, she was like a mommy to the whole family, helping to raise her nieces and nephews.
After immigrating to the U.S. in the 1990s, Lally stayed with friends in New York for a few years before settling in Las Vegas where she met the love of her life and eventual husband, Wes, who she shared 25 wonderful years with.
Lally retired after over 20 years with the Fremont Hotel & Casino where she used her accounting skills to make patrons feel like winners. She loved singing karaoke and was especially gifted at preparing exotic Filipino meals. Later in life, she and Wes found great joy in sharing time with their local grand-nieces, and especially in spending days sitting for baby Enya.
Lally is survived by her devoted husband, Roiale “Wes” Westley; her siblings, Flora Collins and husband Blaine S., Nolly Bayran and husband Bong, Lorna Ventura and husband Boy; nieces and nephews, Lalaine and Blaine M., TJ, Jolo, and Justin, Carlo, Samboy, and Bea; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ayla, Lilly, and Enya, Enzo, Mikmik, and Ranch, and Loraine.
Family and friends will celebrate Lally’s life at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park with a visitation Monday, March 23, from 3–4 p.m., followed by a remembrance service from 4–5 p.m.
