Alexander Paul Plentzas

Alexander Paul Plentzas 58 of Las Vegas went to be with his wife Julie on April 22nd 2018. Alex was born in Silver Springs Md. to Spike and Dayle Plentzas on February 18th 1960. Alex was an accomplished craftsman who would help anyone and you really didn't need to ask. He was a student of the guitar and brought joy to anyone he played for. Alex would help wherever and could fix anything. We have all benefited by his skills and expertise. Alex had a passion for life and was truly a friend to everyone he met. Alex is preceded in death by his wife Julie and parents Spike and Dayle. Alex is survived by his brothers George, Phil and Clark, stepmother Ruth and many step siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV, 89119 on Friday April 27th at 6:30 pm. The family wishes to send sincere thanks to the many friends and family who came to comfort him in his final days, and to the staff at Summerlin Hospital and Nathan Adelson Hospice who were with his through his last days on this earth. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the University of Utah David Eccles scholarship fund in the loving memory of Julie Sherman- Plentzas. Be at peace brother.
