Aloysius William Streifel

Aloysius William Streifel, 69, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Monday June 9th, 2025 in Las Vegas Nevada.

Aloysius was born in Breckenridge, Minnesota to William and Dolores Streifel on July 28th, 1956.

He attended the first and second grade in Zeeland, North Dakota and then the remaining of his schooling was in Aberdeen, South Dakota. After High School he enlisted in the Air Force and served four years. After he was honorably discharged from military service he moved to Las Vegas where he worked at several jobs. Some of the jobs were part owner and operator of a parking lot sweeping company, 7-Eleven night clerk, warehouse worker, and Slot Machine assembler.

Aloysius is preceded in death by his mother Dolores Streifel and his father William Streifel

Aloysius is survived by his 8 siblings: Robert (Janet), David (Linda), Donna (Kevin) Sletten, Daniel (Jennifer), Larry (Lynda), Thomas (Lynne), Karen (Bob) Weisbeck and Michael (Mary); 16 nieces and nephews: Amber Streifel (Paul Walker), Benjamin (Allix) Streifel, Diana Streifel, Nichole (Zachary) Douglas, Stephanie Streifel (Troy Amberg), Barb (Ben) Grote, Ashley Trevino, Kaitlin (Kyle) Helder, Phillip (Ashley) Streifel, Andee (Jalanni) James, Abby (Jacob) Fouberg, Regan Weisbeck, Riley Weisbeck, Will Streifel, Lindsey Streifel (Nathan Mayers) and Jared Streifel.

Aloysius's wishes were to be cremated and to have his ashes spread in a mountain meadow. His family will gather to spread his ashes in Colorado sometime in the future.

The family of Aloysius wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Erendi (Eric) Porillo and his family who were good friends and cared for our brother. We thank all those who cared for him throughout his life and brought him happiness and comfort.
