Anthony C. Berseth

February 9, 1933 — March 31, 2026

Las Vegas, Nevada

Anthony Charles Berseth passed away on 03/31/2026 in Las Vegas NV. He was born on 02/09/1993 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas NV. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Brooks and his maternal grandmother Kazuko Brooks. Anthony is survived by his older brother Joseph Paul and his mother Laura Berseth. Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to our longtime family friends James Shelton, Matt Cavalier, Jamie Long, Beverly Beach and Allen Arce. We would also like to extend our thanks to Jennifer Moore LCSW, Valley Hospital, Serenity Behavioral Center, and Shine A Light Foundation. Thank you to The Crossings Church and House Of Judah for welcoming my son as a member.

Anthony was a graduate of Centennial High School in Las Vegas, and continued an online education when he moved to Seattle WA. He was a member of The Crossings Church in Las Vegas, and House Of Judah in Henderson NV. He was a volunteer at a dining hall for the homeless, through the Compass Resource Center in downtown Seattle WA. He was a house manager for a group home in Seattle, and when he moved back to Las Vegas, house manager for a group home here. He was a caretaker for his mother, Laura Berseth. Anthony played the flute, and he was a gifted creative writer who had his first poem, Sakura, which is Japanese for cherry blossom, published in a book of poems at the age of 10. He studied Japanese for 5 years. Anthony was a wonderful man, kind and compassionate. He was always striving to help others, even when he was struggling himself. He was a loving and devoted son to his mother, and a loving and caring brother to his older brother Joe Paul. My son will be missed by many, as he was loved by many. I consider his death to be the greatest loss of my life, but I take solace in the fact that we will be reunited one day.

I would like to extend my most sincere acknowledgement and gratitude to Davis Funeral Home for keeping my son safe, and for the professional and compassionate manner in which they helped me plan for his final journey.
