Anthony D. Betka

Anthony ""Tony"" Betka, 64, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2018.
Tony was born in Newcastle, Pa. to Connie & John Betka. Tony attended & graduated Clark
High School in 1972. Tony attended Southern Utah State College. He was a sports enthusiast
and a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan! AND if you knew him - he was racking up his Station
Casino boarding pass points to take his friends and family to the buffet! On the weekend, you
could find Tony front & center at Santa Anita or Del Mar race track. Tony devoted over 38 years
to the Clark County School District where he was awarded, ""Support Staff of the Year"" in 2016.
In this career with the CCSD, he coordinated bus transportation for 36 high schools so athletes
could get to their destination. Tony is survived by companion, Linda Betka; son, Tony Betka;
daughter, Brianne Betka; sisters, Francine Betka and Charisse Patterson; nieces; Heather
Richards and Taylor Giron and 3 grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled on July 24, 2018
at Davis Funeral Homes located at 1401 S. Rainbow, Las Vegas, NV 89146. The viewing will be
held 12pm-1pm and the service will begin at 1pm until 2pm proceeded by a private burial.
