Artoise H. Griffin

Artoise Griffin, 87, a retired nurses aid, of Henderson, passed away April 30, 2013. She was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Panguitch, Utah, and was a 61year resident of Nevada. Artoise was employed by Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson. She was a member of the LDS Church and worked in the Las Vegas Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Othello Jace Griffin and her sister, Alta Excell. She is survived by her children, Colleen Bill Okeson, Calvin Mona Griffin and Slade Ellen Griffin 13 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Clem and Hal Hancock. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.noon, Saturday, May 4, with services following, both at LDS Chapel, 303 S. Cholla St., Henderson. Burial will be at 1 p.m., Monday, April 6, in Escalante, Utah.
