Barbara Bentley

Barbara, age 76 of Henderson NV, went to glory on January 27, 2022, in Las Vegas.  Barbara was born in Philadelphia PA to Winfred and Alma Johnson on May 19, 1945.  

She graduated from West Philadelphia High School. Nursing has always been her passion.  She started as a Nurse’s Aid at the age of 18.  Working hard to become a Registered Nurse graduating from Hahnemann University in 1980, she was a very active participant in the Nursing Sorority Chi Eta Phi, supporting both upcoming nursing students and the professional Theta chapter.

Barbara is preceded by her husband Kenneth, parents Winfred Sr. and Alma, along with her two (2) siblings Winfred Jr. and Brenda.

She leaves behind one brother LeeJ, sister-in-law, Netfa, two (2) children, Michelle and Kenneth Bentley, and her daughter-in-law Theresa Bentley. Also a host of grandchildren;  Seven (7) grandchildren, twelve (12)  great-grandchildren, and two (2) great-great-grandchildren

Celebration of Life will be held in September 2022 in Henderson including a Zoom Presentation of the celebration. In Lieu of flowers at this time, please sign the Guest Book and share a memory online of how our mother touched your life.
