Barbara Coughlin

Barbara Coughlin, 86, passed peacefully at home on January 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Chicago, IL on January 8, 1937.  She later married Jim Coughlin eventually settling in Las Vegas.  He was employed for over 20 years as an airline mechanic at TWA airlines.

Barbara's passions included cooking, gardening, music and painting.  She was a very talented portrait artist.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Fredrick and Emma Broell, Alberta Hamilton, Marilyn Rossignol, and Fred Broell Jr.  Sadly, she was also preceded in death by her much-loved grandsons David Deuel-13, and Shawn Wiegand-21.

She leaves behind her four children, Kathy Deuel, Jim Coughlin Jr., Tim Coughlin and Colleen Wiegand.  Also two surviving grandchildren, Krista Schroeder, and Shannon Wiegand. Recently, she was blessed by the arrival of a new great-granddaughter, Lilah Schroeder.

Barbara will always be remembered for her kind deposition, gentle spirit, deep faith and beautiful smile.  She was a very dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

We will be reunited.  1 John 2:25-' And this is what He promised us: eternal life.'

Services will be at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S Eastern at 10:00 AM, on February 17, 2023.  Followed by burial at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada at 12:00 PM.
