Betty Bandics
January 30, 1926 — December 14, 2014
Betty C. Bandics 88, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 14, 2014. She was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Buffalo, N.Y. She grew up in Bloomsburg, Pa., where she met and married Ernest J. Bandics. After moving to Las Vegas, she worked for Holtz Enterprises from 1954 at the Huntridge Drugstore as a cosmetician and retired in 2004 from Decatur Drugstore. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Ellis son, Ernest Bandics Jr. brother, Parvin Shepperson, five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Viewing will be noon2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, with services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Donations may be made to Heaven Can Wait Animal Sanctuary.
