Bill Dawson West

Bill Dawson West, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 28, 2012. He was born Jan. 25, 1937 in Checotah, Okla., and was a resident of Nevada for 33 years. He served in the U.S. marine Corps from 1956 until retiring in 1973. He then worked in the Department of Energy until retiring in 1993. He is survived by his wife, of 31 years, Jerri West his children, including daughters, Christine Smith, LuAnne Codd Michael, Erin West and Elizabeth Kazebee and sons, Bill Douglas West and Romar La Torre grandchildren, Demetre, Jordan, Garrett and Spencer and sister, Saundra Young Steve brother, Leon West Velma nephew, Thomas Jennings Angelina nieces, Melissa Eastman Gary, Patti Dillard and Kristy Estrada Elmer.
