Bonnie Earl Johnson, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away on 01/25/2025 in Las Vegas.

Bonnie was born in Tallulah, Louisiana to Emma Gowdy and Tony Love on 07/27/1945.

In 1972 she took a leap of faith, packed up her family from Sandusky, Ohio, and moved to Las Vegas, NV. Here she would spend 50 years of her life, working as a food and beverage cashier and then as a casino game dealer at The Treasure Island Casino until she retired in 2010. She was an exceptional woman who took pride in building and laying the foundation for an amazing life and legacy for herself and her family.

Bonnie is preceded in death by Betty Jean Wright (Aunt), William Arrington (Brother), Dana Scott (Son), and Loveorce Johnson (Husband).

Bonnie is survived by her children Kevin and Nancy Johnson, Cheryl Scott, Margaret Scott, and Harvey Scott Jr. Her brother Charles Gowdy, and her grandchildren Anthony, Alexys, and Alyssa Johnson as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family of Bonnie Johnson wishes to extend a sincere thanks to Southern Hills Hospital, St.Rose Dominican Hospital, Dr.Kristian Kinel, Fresenius Kidney Care, Dr. Tina Tandon, her amazing staff and the many other medical staff that have aided in Bonnies health journey over the years.
