Bruce Harbourt Raup

Bruce Harbourt Raup, 59, of Henderson, NV passed away on June 19, 2025.

Bruce was born April 19, 1966 in Kalamazoo, MI to Henry Armstrong Raup and Ann Harbourt Raup. He was a graduate of the North Bennet School locksmithing program in Boston, MA. He spent nearly 40 years as a respected locksmith and security professional in both Boston, MA and Las Vegas, NV.

Bruce grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and traveled frequently with his parents and elder brother, Timothy Armstrong Raup. Their adventures brought them to many wonderful places, including the United Kingdom, Ocracoke, NC, Mount Desert Island, ME, Belize, Guatemala, and Ecuador. Bruce was a dedicated documentarian of their journeys, preserving the memories in cherished video and photographs.

Bruce was a talented computer coder, video editor, gamer, and magician. He spent many family gatherings delighting his nieces Liann and Angela with card tricks and masterful sleight of hand. He had a fondness for reptiles, amphibians, and science fiction.

Bruce is survived by his father, Henry Armstrong Raup (Mount Desert, ME), his brother, Timothy Armstrong Raup (Mariaville, ME), his niece Angela Marie Raup (Mount Desert, ME), and his niece Liann (CT). He is preceded by his mother, Ann Harbourt Raup (Mount Desert, ME).
