Carol Buczek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Buczek, age 86, of Henderson, NV, who died Friday morning in a memory care facility in Henderson, NV after a brief illness.

Born in Syracuse, NY, Carol married James Buczek on May 21st, 1955 and they spent 61 wonderful years together until James’ passing on January 13, 2017.  Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  She was a 40-year resident of Las Vegas and Henderson, NV.

Carol had a passion for painting and baking and was known for her delicious desserts and beautiful artwork.  She was also an avid fan of the Golden Knights Hockey Team and loved cheering them on during games.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Denise Buczek of Henderson, NV; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Buczek and Chris Spornberger of Southold, NY; 4 Grandchildren, Cate Buczek, Lindsay Buczek, John Buczek and Brooke Buczek and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held  Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at 2 PM at Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Las Vegas, NV.  The family will receive visitors from one hour prior to the services.  Entombment will follow at Davis Memorial Park.
