Carol Jean Talley passed away peacefully on 05/01/2026 at 96 years of age in her home in Pahrump, Nevada.
Carol is survived by her three children; Stephanie Chatfield, David N. Talley Jr, and Valerie Talley-Caudill; two grandchildren David VA Talley and Angela Knight; and three great-grandchildren John Knight IV, Jackson Knight and Jameson Alexander Talley.
Carol was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1929. She met and later married David in 1952 while he was stationed in Minneapolis with the United States Air Force. After spending over 20 years travelling as an Air Force wife, she and David moved to Arizona and shortly after to Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1995, they built their retirement home in nearby Pahrump, where she lived for over 30 years.
A graveside service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:40am.
