Charles Sohr

May 19, 1972 — December 27, 2022

Charles F. Sohr, 50, of Las Vegas passed away on December 27, 2022.

Charles was the beloved firstborn son of Anton C. and Janet E. Sohr (nee Myers). He was born on May 19, 1972 at the Naval Hospital in Charleston, SC and spent his formative years living on and around Naval bases in Charleston (SC), Norfolk (VA), San Diego (CA), and Bremerton (WA) before attending high school in Elyria, OH. Charles (or Chuck, as he was known to his immediate family) was incredibly intelligent and artistic with a wild creative streak-- able to do almost anything he set his mind to. With a quick wit and friendly but mischievous smile, he made friends easily wherever he went. After high school, Charles lived in San Diego for a few years and embarked on a series of personal and professional adventures before moving to Las Vegas, where he started his own Electrical business (Sin City Electric). He enjoyed creating and tinkering with electronics, cooking and BBQing for friends, and being the life of every gathering he was a part of. He also loved doing wind therapy on his Harley-Davdison Ultra Classic motorcycle. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Janet Sohr, and brother David Sohr. He is grieved by his father Anton (Barbara) Sohr; his brothers Paul (Terry Sweat) Sohr, James Sohr, and Brian (Jenaa Curtis) Sohr; his "partner-in-life" Susanna "JoJo" Edwards; many, many other loving relatives and dear friends.
