Christopher Mattei

October 21, 1984 — May 30, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Mattei, our beloved son on Friday May 30th, 2025. Born in West Palm Beach on Sunday October 21st, 1984 to parents Joseph and Dawn Mattei.

He is survived by his parents, his sister Stacy M. Mattei, his maternal grandmother Stephany DiPersico, and his uncles Dale (Mary), Daniel (Laura), Aunt Anne (Joseph) and many cousins. He is preceded by his maternal grandfather Frank DiPersico, his paternal grandparents Josephine and Salvatore Mattei.

He attended school in West Palm Beach. He achieved his Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Troop 197 before his 18th birthday. His project was to build a pavilion at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in Boynton Beach, FL. After high school he went to Wyoming to receive his degree in Auto Mechanics. He traveled and lived in many places: Wyoming, California, Tennessee, Carolina’s, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. He was a true free spirited individual who was very creative and smart. He had a love for animals especially his cat Kiki. He so enjoyed nature along with camping, boating, the beach, hiking in the mountains, skiing, snowboarding, and fishing. A true outdoorsman. His talent was experiencing the challenges of working on restoring cars and trucks. He loved to cook just about anything, but Italian was his favorite. His real passion was building various RC projects.

Though he was never married he did have a special love in his life, his best friend Madeleine Morales to whom he greatly adored and cherished.

Even though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
