Connie A. Davis

Connie Davis died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long illness on March 5, 2018 at the age of 83.

Connie was born in New Orleans, LA in 1934 to Aubrey and Erma Thibodeaux. She married John Davis in 1955 and moved all around the country ending in Henderson, NV where the entire family eventually moved.

Connie was a loving, devoted mother, wife and grandmother always willing to jump in and lend a hand. She retired from Boyd Gaming so that she could help with the raising of her grandkids. Always positive with her thought and mannerisms it is fitting that her favorite song was ""What a wonderful world"". Connie loved the annual family vacations where she got to spend a week with the entire family. Her mantra was always ""Let's make some memories"".

Connie is survived by her husband, John Davis of Henderson, NV, her daughters, Cheryl Davis, Michelle Davis and LeAnn Davis of Las Vegas, NV, and her grandchildren, Sierra Frykberg and Zen Frykberg of Henderson, NV. Connie is preceded in death by brother Aubrey (Spike) Thibodeaux of New Orleans, LA, her 4 nephews Michael Schwehm, Noah Schwehm, Steve Schwehm, and Chris Schwehm of New Orleans, LA and her niece Tiffany Ballow of New Orleans, LA.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Connies's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 6200 South Eastern Avenue.
