Curtis Nolan Mills, age 93, of Las Vegas, passed away on May 10, 2022.
He was born to Hubert and Effie Mills in Harlan, Kentucky on July 26, 1928. He was preceded in death by his brothers James Mills and Carl Mills, and brother-in-law Roger Giddings.
He enlisted in the Army-Air Force in 1946 and reenlisted in the Air Force in 1955 and was stationed at Eglin Field, Fl, Scott Filed in Ill, Japan, France, and Nellis Air Force Base.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, the love of his life, daughter Susan Hill and son Curtis Mills, Jr. He is also survived by four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Curtis had many interests. In his youth, he played softball, and hardball and became a very good bowler and billiards player. He loved to ride motorcycles and Sylvia joined him on numerous occasions. He and Sylvia shared a deep love for animals. They loved trail riding with their horses in and around Las Vegas.
Curt was an interior designer at Garrett's Furniture for several years before becoming a real estate agent in 1979 and a broker in 1991. He and Sylvia shared a deep, abiding faith and love for the Lord, and this was the undergirding foundation of their marriage of 46 years. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 11 at Trinity Life Center; visitations will be 10:00-11:00 with service at 11:00 and burial at Davis Memorial Park at 3:00 PM.
