Dennis John Del Vecchio

Dennis Del Vecchio Sr. proud U.S. Navy, Vietnam War Veteran & Disabled Veteran passed away January 27th 2016. He was born May 16th 1949 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph & Francis & moved to Las Vegas with his wife Regina & two sons Dennis Jr. & Salvatore in 1985. Dennis was a very talented baseball player & Athlete who had a chance to make the major leagues before a knee injury derailed his dreams. Dennis was a proud father, grandpa, husband, Uncle and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family especially all his grandsons. Dennis worked most of his life for AT&T in NY & the United States Postal Service here in Las Vegas. The past 10+ years he spent his life working side by side with his good friends Frank & Dawn of DEI Rare Coins. He is survived by his children, Dennis Jr. & Salvatore; grandsons, Christopher, Jaden, Jacob, AJ & Joseph; wife, Stephanie & stepsons Amadeus & Jonathan.

His service will be Friday Feb. 12th from 3pm - 5pm at Davis Funeral Home 6200 S. Eastern Ave & Patrick. The family is planning a gathering that will follow his service. At a later date his final resting place will be the Veterans Memorial Cemetery located in Boulder City.
