Diana Perkins

Diana “Penny” Perkins, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away on December 10th, 2021 in Las Vegas. Penny was born in Milwaukee, WI to James and Ruth Christopher on June 30th, 1942.

Penny attended Holy Redeemer and transferred to St. Albert’s grade school, where she was in the first graduating class in 1956. Penny finished up her studies at Divine Savior, an all-girls Catholic high school, where she graduated in 1960. Penny moved from Milwaukee, WI to Las Vegas, NV in 1965. She met her 1st husband; Garry Metzger and they were married in 1967. They had 3 boys James, Michael, and Jason. She married her 2nd husband; John Perkins Jr. on Feb 14, 1981. Penny worked & retired from Las Vegas Family and Youth Services, where she was an administrative supervisor for over 32 years. Penny enjoyed reading, traveling, cruising, BINGO, and spending time with her family.

Penny is preceded in Death by, James Christopher, Ruth Christopher, John Perkins Jr., & Jeff Christopher.                                                       

Penny is survived by her children James, Michael & Jason. Grandchildren Alissa, Paige, Kyle & Tyler.

Brothers Tom and Mark Christopher and sister Viki Norman, as well as her extended family and abundance of friends. 

Visitation/Viewing will be Tues. Dec 28th, 2021 @ Davis Funeral Home on Eastern from 10 am – 12 pm.

Funeral Services will be held @ 1 pm Tues. Dec 28th, 2021 at Christ the King with Father Bill, officiating. Burial with following at Davis Funeral Home on Eastern at 3 pm. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be James, Michael, Kyle, and Tyler Metzger, Tom, and Mark Christopher.
