Dora Johnson Butler

Dora Johnson Butler 102, passed away on December 22, 2021, of natural causes in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dora was born in Millville, Utah just south of Logan, Utah on December 19, 1919, to John Eugene Johnson and Lola Mae Pitkin. In 1941, Dora became a Registered Nurse after graduating from Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Sherman E. Butler on March 17, 1942. They were married 61 years until his passing in 2003. Their marriage was solemnized in the Las Vegas Nevada Temple on September 13, 2005. Dora was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had various callings including Home Making, Compassionate Service, Visiting Teaching Supervisor, and Library. She was co-owner of Butler Crane Service in Las Vegas Nevada 1955 until 1986. Dora was the last surviving member of her siblings. Dora is survived by her three children, daughter Tanya and sons Kim and Dan and grandsons, Marc Butler, El Cajon California, Jonathan (Jennifer) Butler, Williamsburg, VA, and two great-grandchildren, Vya and Drayton.
