Eduardo J. Palomo, 83, of Las Vegas, passed away, exactly two years after his wife, on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 in Henderson, NV.
Eduardo was born in Sagua de Tanamo, Cuba to Eduardo Sr (known as Lalo) and Yolanda. He married the love of his life, Presentación (Chicha) on June 4,1966 in Cuba.
Eduardo and Chicha left Cuba in 1972 with a five year old daughter and headed to Spain. They left Cuba with only a few dollars and a small luggage to start a new life. They had a son in Madrid and lived there for two years while saving money to immigrate into the U.S. In 1974, with the help of their sister, they immigrated legally into the states and settled in Hudson County, New Jersey.
In 1990, they moved to Las Vegas. They built a beautiful life in historic Paradise Palms and worked as porters at Caesars Palace until retirement.
Eduardo is survived by his children, Yolanda, Eduardo (Ed), Cristhiano and Gabrielle; his sister, Faustina (China); brother, Jorge, and sister-in-law, Mimi; his grandchildren, Isabella and Roman; and nephews/nieces, Jorgito, Leonardo & Amber, as well as many other family.
The family wishes to thank the nurses of Henderson Hospital, specifically Char & Arizon, and Autumn with Compassion Care hospice.
