Edward Charles Barrett, 68, of Las Vegas, Nevada, born in Tacoma, Washington, to Joyce Jensen and Earl Francis Barrett, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025.

A proud graduate of Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington, Edward went on to serve honorably in the United States Marine Corps for seventeen years following his high school graduation. He then moved to Las Vegas in 1993 and worked at the Dunes, Mirage, Treasure Island, and Park MGM hotels. Those who knew him closest affectionately referred to him as Chuck. He was known for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and deep love for family and friends. Chuck cherished camping and the outdoors, and his presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Jensen (2025); stepfather, Walter Jensen (2002); his sister-in-law, Tara; and his brother-in-law, Joe.

• Grandchildren: Jadyn, Kale, Brandon, and Yuri
• Siblings: Mike (Tara, deceased), Sue (Joe, deceased), John (Joy), Bob (Christy)
• Nieces & Nephews: Amber (Karen), Tony, Brandon (Jackie)
• Great-Niece & Great-Nephew: Devyn, Kayden

Chuck will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, extended family, and many friends.
