Esther V. Faircloth

ESTHER FAIRCLOTH Esther Veronica Malner Faircloth, 84, who was always happy to let everyone know that she ""was born and raised in North Las Vegas before it was North Las Vegas"", passed away August 10, 2018. Esther and her husband, Jerry Faircloth, Sr., were married March 7, 1950 and they made North Las Vegas their home. During their married life they enjoyed dancing together, Good Sam outings and spending time with family. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before Jerry passed away in 2010. Esther played the piano, was a talented artist and loved to work in her garden and care for her turtles. She enjoyed sewing and many of her family members have been gifted with a quilt, embroidered piece, or an article of clothing. For several years, Esther taught catechism at St. Christopher Catholic School in North Las Vegas. Later in life, she cared for both her husband and her mother. Esther's greatest joy was being with her family and she had the ability to make all of us feel like we were her favorite. ""I Love You More."" Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; two grandchildren, Amanda Davison and Nevada Faircloth; her son-in-law, Willie Davison; her parents, Joseph and Helen Malner; and two sisters, Joy Razy and Rita Steiner. She is survived by her seven children, Jerry Jr. (Joan), of North Las Vegas, JoD Davison, of Sparks, David (Richa) and Greg (Clara), of Las Vegas, Babette Hart (Tim), of North Las Vegas, Willie (Lisa), of Las Vegas and Daryle (Cyndi), of Moscow, Idaho. Esther is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; as well as several great-great-grandchildren. In her later years Esther suffered from Alzheimer's disease and her family would like to thank the staff of Aegis Living and Harmony Hospice for their kind and loving care. Services to honor Esther's life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 17, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119
