Eva passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 1, 2018, at her home inside Pacifica Assisted Living Center, Las Vegas, NV at the age of 90.
She was born on September 24, 1927 to John and Frances Pitman in Rigby, Idaho.
Eva was the last of eight children, having four older brothers, Elmer, Glen, Robert and Johnny and three older sisters, Hazel, Mae and Edith. All have preceded her in death.
She graduated from Rigby High School in 1945 with honors. She later attended Idaho Falls Business College where she studied bookkeeping, accounting and secretarial skills.
Eva married Ralph Edward Christensen on October 30, 1952. They took a Honeymoon trip to California where her sisters family lived and then proceeded down the coast and came through Las Vegas on their return to Idaho. This is when they made the decision to move to Las Vegas where Ralph worked as a journeyman plumber and Eva worked in various companies as a bookkeeper and secretary. Eva later went to work for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1994 with 27 years of service.
She enjoyed family trips to Disneyland and summer vacations to Idaho and Yellowstone Park.
Eva enjoyed working on Family Genealogy and was secretary to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for 17 years. Her favorite flowers were pink roses.
Having lost her husband, Ralph in 2008 and daughter, Karen in 2012, she is survived by daughters Debra Ann Christensen and Susan Jo Christensen.
