Memorial Services for Evan Clyde Baker, 46, a resident of Las Vegas, NV, will be held from 9AM to 10AM on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at PT's Gold, 4424 W. Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 8912. Evan passed away on April 27, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and an indomitable spirit. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Evan found his home in Las Vegas, where he resided for the past decade.

Evan's journey was one marked by significant contributions and a steadfast commitment to his work. He was among the esteemed inaugural crew that ushered in the grand opening of the Fontainebleau Casino in December of 2023, where he served as a cage cashier. Prior to this, Evan had made his mark at the MGM Grand, showcasing his expertise and passion in the hospitality industry.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Evan found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a penchant for unraveling the intricacies of crossword puzzles and found solace in his spiritual pursuits. A man of intellect and ambition, Evan was a member of the esteemed National Honor Society and earned his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. His thirst for knowledge was unquenchable, as evidenced by his ongoing studies in Cyber Security at the University of Phoenix.

Evan's passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Cecil W. Baker, who departed in 2015. Evan is survived by his devoted mother, Gloria J. Baker, of Gainesville, FL, along with his loving siblings: Anita Baker of Gainesville, FL, Bonnie Baker Allen of Green Brook, NJ, Cecil W. Baker II of Middlesex, NJ, and Darryl C. Baker of Staten Island, NY. Evan's memory will be cherished by his 7 nieces and nephews, a great nephew, and a multitude of friends and colleagues whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.
