Celebrating the life of Evelyn Rose –

Evelyn Rose Martinez, age 6, passed away on June 18, 2023from medical complications due to neuroblastoma at Summerlin Hospital.

Evelyn was born on September 22, 2016 to parents Kayla Gonzales and Eduardo Martinez.  From the day Evelyn Rose was born, she was the star of the show and the light in everyone’s life!  She was the kindest, pure-hearted child the world has ever known, and the world was her stage!!

Evelyn was a great student that attended Lake Mead Christian Academy from Pre-K through 1st grade, where she was surrounded by friends and teachers that loved and nurtured her.

Evelyn Rose was a girly-girl, who loved all things make-up and dress-up.  She loved barbies, doing crafts, beating everyone in board games and learning to cook.  Evelyn loved to perform for everyone.  She was on the Elite Dance team at Dance Addiction where she was able to compete in her first dance competition.

She is survived by so many people that loved and adored her -- her mother, father and step mom, her brother and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.  Evelyn Rose will forever be missed until we dance with her again in heaven!
