Frances Ruth Mitchell

Frances Ruth Mitchell, 78, of Henderson Nevada, passed away early Sunday morning, February 18, 2018. Frances was born in Washington D.C. on May 4, 1939. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree in education from East Carolina University. She taught first grade for 36 years for the Clark County School District at Lewis E. Rowe, George E. Harris, Louis Wiener, Nate Mack, and Walter Long Elementary Schools.

She married Donald Mitchell on June 9, 1969. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as Stake Librarian for her last 15 years. Frances is survived by her husband, Donald Mitchell.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 23 with viewing at 10 AM in the Green Valley Stake Center, 410 North Valle Verde, Henderson Nevada. Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 PM at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 South Eastern, Las Vegas Nevada.
