Frank Rico Williamson, 63, passed away on January 15, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on May 18, 1962, in Oakland, California.
Frank lived a life defined by movement, connection, and deep love for the people around him. He traveled extensively and lived in many places throughout his life, including cities across California, Chicago, and Geneva, Switzerland—where he met his wife, Nicole. He eventually settled in Las Vegas, a place he proudly called home.
For over 30 years, Frank worked at Hewlett-Packard, a career he genuinely loved. Whether traveling for work, meeting new people, or tackling each new challenge, he embraced it all with enthusiasm and pride. Anyone who spoke with Frank—on the phone or in person—knew his unmistakable laugh. It was constant, joyful, and unmistakably him.
Sports were a cornerstone of Frank’s life. From his own track career to countless rounds of golf on courses he loved, sports brought him joy and purpose. But nothing mattered more to him than supporting his sons and their dreams. Frank believed deeply in chasing what you love and working relentlessly toward it, trusting that the effort would always pay off.
He traveled with his family to baseball games around the world, always the one behind the video camera, capturing every moment. From the stands, he could always be spotted with a huge smile—radiating pride—watching his sons play. He was present for every practice, every game, every milestone, cheering louder than anyone else.
As a father, Frank didn’t just support dreams—he nurtured them. One of the lessons he shared most often was to “continue writing your story.” He believed every experience became part of the book of your life, and he wanted that book to be full, meaningful, and extraordinary. He lived his own life by that same belief.
Frank was always there—ready to listen, ready to laugh, ready to celebrate every moment, big or small. He was the first call when something exciting happened, and the steady voice of encouragement through every challenge. His presence in the stands, his voice on the phone, and his unwavering support shaped the lives of those who loved him.
Frank is survived by his wife, Nicole Williamson, and his two sons, Noah and Kyle.
Not seeing him in the stands will be incredibly difficult, but his family knows he will always be with them—on the field, in every moment, and in every chapter still being written. While life without him feels unimaginable, his love, guidance, and pride will continue to carry them forward.
Services are not yet planned but will be held during the coming weekends in Oakland, California. Details will be shared at a later time.
