Gabriel "Bubba" Serrano, 46, beloved husband, son, father, and brother, passed away on November 28, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1979, in Hollywood, California, to Gilbert and Josephine.
Gabriel graduated from Paramount High School in 1997-Once a Pirate, always a Pirate! In 2004, he moved from Paramount, California to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he later met the love of his life, Sereina. The two married in 2008 and built a beautiful family together.
Sports were woven into every chapter of Gabriel's life. From Little League and high school football to coaching his sons' teams, he made a lasting impact on countless young athletes. A devoted member of the Las Vegas softball community, Gabriel often referred to the field as his church. He cherished the friendships he formed and the joy of playing the game he loved.
Gabriel will be remembered most for the way he showed up-steadfast, supportive, and fiercely loyal. He offered great advice, even if he wasn't always the best at taking it himself. His children knew that no matter the place-basketball court, football field, track, concert hall, or cheer stage-he would be there, cheering loudly, proud of every moment. Gabriel was a natural protector, and he lived by one of his favorite sayings: "Love me or hate me, but you'll never forget me."
Gabriel is survived by his wife, Sereina; his daughters Brianna, Kyanice, and Amaya; his son Alijah; his brother Gil; his sisters Cynthia and Wendy; and his parents Gilbert, Josephine, and Mike. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and countless others whose lives he touched.
