George James Kellaris, 61, of Las Vegas Nevada, passed away on January 26th, 2026 at his home.
A memorial will be held from 11am to 2pm on Sunday February 8th at the Mausoleum, Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas Nevada. Burial will be at the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Maryland.
George was born in Burbank, California to Pauline Mammalis Kellaris and Frank James Kellaris on May 12, 1964. He went to school in Burbank, where he was an avid performer of traditional Greek dance and sang in a barbershop quartet. George moved to Las Vegas with his family in the mid 1980s and worked in the aviation support industry at Harry Reid Airport for almost three decades. He has been a Fueling Supervisor at Menzies Aviation for over 20 years, working daily on the tarmac to service and refuel planes. In those decades, he became a trusted employee, an invaluable mentor, and a beloved friend.
George is preceded in death by his parents Pauline and Frank Kellaris and his brother, Peter A Kellaris. He will be buried next to his brother in the Francis Scott Key (Mt. Olivet) cemetery in Frederick, Maryland.
George is survived by his sister-in-law Kennan Kellaris Salinero, his niece Cassandra Kellaris, and his nephew Nicholas Kellaris.
