George Yaghi passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, faith, and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Abdou and Zomorod Yaghi.
George is lovingly remembered by his partner, Nancy Cokinda; his brothers, Alem and Tony; and his sisters, Maria, Najat, Therese (Yaghi) Challita, Bernadette, and Rita (Yaghi) Baron. He also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, Elissar and Zeina; his brothers-in-law, Chahid Challita, Keesag Baron; and many cherished nieces and nephews, including Elio Challita, Maria (Elie Kallab), Rabih, George (Sidney), Nathalie Yaghi, Zomor, and Zabelle Baron, along with great-nieces and a great-nephew who adored him.
A proud man of Lebanese descent, George carried his heritage close to his heart and gave generously of his time, talents, and resources to support both his community and his cultural roots.
As the owner of GQ Clothier stores in Las Vegas, George built a lasting legacy through his exceptional craftsmanship in custom tailoring. Widely regarded as one of the finest in his craft, he earned a reputation for excellence that extended far beyond his stores.
George lived a rich and joyful life surrounded by family and friends from around the world. He found great happiness in nature, travel, and cooking for those he loved.
Above all, he was a devoted partner, standing faithfully by Nancy’s side through her battle with cancer.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love.
