Gloria Jean Gomez, born on April 12, 1948, in Phoenix, Arizona, departed from this world on February 15, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, Gloria’s heart and spirit touched many lives throughout her journey.
For an extraordinary 55 years, Gloria shared her life with her beloved husband, Joseph Gomez. Their love was a shining example of devotion, marked by a beautiful anniversary each year on February 14, which they celebrated with joy and appreciation for their years together. Gloria’s commitment to family was profound, and she took immense pride in her two sons, Christopher J. Gomez of Las Vegas and Daniel P. Gomez of Kingman, Arizona. As a grandmother, Gloria found endless joy in her grandchildren, Adyline Dawn Gomez and Odin Davis Gintu Gomez, who brought her laughter and happiness.
Gloria’s life was enriched by her education, earning her high school diploma and GED in Phoenix, AZ. She poured her heart into everything she did, thriving in her passions and interests. She adored dancing, with a particular fondness for The Beatles. She grew a collection of every album from their early years to the present. Paul McCartney being her favorite, held a special place in her heart, and her love for music was intricately woven into the fabric of her life. In addition to her love for music and dance, Gloria was recognized for her talents in dancing, winning numerous honors. Her ability to light up a room with her love for music and movement was truly remarkable.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband Joseph Gomez, and sons, Christopher J. Gomez and Daniel P. Gomez. Grandchildren Adyline and Odin. Brother, Keith Harly Hawpe of Phoenix, Arizona, sisters Lori Marie of California and Charlet Crist of Wisconsin. While she is deeply missed by her family and friends, her legacy of love, joy, and passion for life will forever remain in their hearts.
