Grant Murry Day

Grant Day, 78, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on October 23, 2018 in Las Vegas.
Grant was born in Washington, Utah on June 13, 1940. His parents were Lilyan and William Day.
Grant was married to Janet Day for 54 years. He graduated from Basic High School in 1959 where he was a four sport letterman. After high school, he attended a trade school in Southern California. After his schooling, he became a self-employed businessman in the city of Henderson for over 50 years. He served the youth by coaching basketball for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lilyan and William Day, and his brother Bud Bradshaw.
Grant is survived by his wife: Janet, and his children: Trent Day and his wife Christine, Todd Day and his wife Tina, and Thomas Day and his wife Lisa. Brothers and sister: Alpine Day, Larry Day and Eloise Guinn. Grandchildren: Breanna, Theron, Cody, Chandler, Mike, Spencer, Stephanie, Connelly, Mary, Mark, Savanna, and Delaney. Great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Jackson, Arizona, Crawford, Addilyn, and Harrison.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 2nd at Davis Funeral Homes and Memorial Park 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.
