Henry Bazzoli

Henry Bazzoli, age 86, of Henderson, formerly of Chicago, passed away on July 12, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Henry was born December 31, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Giacomina and Angelo Bazzoli. Beloved husband of 65 years to Josephine (nee Del Vicario). Loving father of Thomas (Darlene), Denise (Robert) Gripentog, and Curtis (Carolyn). Cherished grandfather to Kristin (Christopher) Piotrowski, Lisa (Kurt) Hollquist, Thomas (Jennifer), Bridget (Marco) Perna, Brandon, Brittany (Frank) Lewis, Matthew, and Nicholas. Adored great-­â€ grandfather to Aidan, Samuel, and Ellison Piotrowski; Katherine, Noah, and Owen Hollquist; Daniel and Joseph Perna, and Alexis and Giovanni. He is further survived by his sisters-­â€in-­â€law Mary ""Katie"" DeCarolis and Lorraine Bazzoli; his nephew, Fred (Margaret); his niece, Gloria (Frank) Thomas; and other extended family members.

Henry is preceded in death by his father, Angelo; his mother, Giacomina; his stepfather, Emilio Cassoni; his brother, Bernard; and his son, Thomas. He will be remembered as a kind and loving man whose family meant everything to him.

Funeral to be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, 9:00 a.m.-­â€1:00 p.m., at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Prayer service to follow at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, masses appreciated.
