Hugh "Smokey" Darrell Collins

Hugh Darrell Collins, Smokey, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his home at age 78. He retired as a teamster with Local 631. He worked at Genstar Gypson in Blue Diamond for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his greatgranddaughter, Brooke. He is survived by two sisters, Helen and Dixie seven children, Susie, Jimmy, Gene, Mary, Jerry, Vickie and Gary 21 grandchildren 20 greatgrandchildren. He loved to hunt, fish and watch football. He loved his family and friends. He will be sorely missed, but we will see him again in Heaven. Visitation will be at 8:309:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 23, with funeral services following, both at Davis Funeral, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial to follow.
