Ida B. Grant

Ida Grant, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4th, 2018. She was born on December 13, 1927 in Zap, North Dakota to Emma and Christ Ost. She married Fritz Grant on January 17th, 1948 in Spokane, Washington. Ida and Fritz moved the family to Las Vegas, NV in 1964. Ida worked at the Las Vegas Convention Center for 30 plus years and retired at the age of 80. She enjoyed her work and was a dedicated employee.
Ida had a beautiful life and truly loved her family and anyone who knew her loved her. She loved to cook, sew, and decorate the house. She made dinner every night and made sure we ate together as a family and there was always enough for one more. Family was everything to her she was always there to help each of us. She was truly the glue that held our famliy together and taught us what family really meant. She is survived by her 4 daughters; Robbin Grant, Sally Rhodes, Lisa Joiner, and Leslie Bridges. 8 grandchildren; Billy Greenrod, Robbin Wieczerkowski, Vincent Greenrod, Emma Rhodes, Luke Bridges, Jacob Joiner, Hailey Bridges, and Jessica Joiner. 5 great grandchildren; Trey Greenrod, Lauren Caldwell, Jocelyn Rhodes Wieczorkowksi , Memphis Wieczorkowski, and Liam Greenrod and 4 great great grandchildren; Lacey Caldwell, Molly Caldwell, Erik Caldwell and, Alessa Greenrod. Ida was one of a kind and will be truly missed by all.
