Ira Pius Piimaiwaa Kepilino Jr. of Las Vegas NV. Passed away on September 21st,2021 in Las Vegas NV surrounded by love ones. Ira was born on, December 13th, 1942, in the City of Honolulu, Hawaii on the Island of Oahu.
Mr. Ira Pius Piimaiwaa Kepilino was a graduate of Kaimuki High School on the Island of Oahu. As a Native Hawaiian Ira’s childhood and young adulthood was spent on the Hawaiian Islands, until he moved to Las Vegas, NV in the early 2000s. Ira spent most of his time at the Suncoast Casino Bowling Ally. If you were looking for Ira on a Sunday Morning you knew exactly where to find him, Polishing his Bowling balls and throwing them down the lanes. His laughter and few words will always leave an echo in the Ally for the people close to him to hear.
Ira Pius Piimaiwa Kepilino is preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Mother Roselani Kauwila Kepilino, Father Ira Pius Piimaiwa Kepilino Sr., and His two sons Ira Pius Piimaiwa Kepilino III and Manuel Kanaka’okai Kepilino.
Ira is survived by his two living Children Peter Kaleo’okalani Kepilino and Roselani Kauwila Palimo’o. Alongside His ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Ira has one living sibling Roselani Kauwila Larue which was one of his best friends and her four sons.
The funeral service for Mr. Kepilino will be held at Davis Funeral Home on October 1st, 2021 at 3 pm. A short gathering will follow directly after the service at the same location.
