Jack Hachikian, a man whose warmth and spirit touched all who knew him, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, in Las Vegas. Born on December 9, 1946, in New York, Jack’s life was marked by an extraordinary blend of professional accomplishment, heartfelt generosity, and joyful camaraderie.

Jack’s professional journey was as dynamic as his personality. He began his career as the Treasurer of Chase Manhattan Bank, a role that underscored his sharp acumen and integrity. His ambitions then carried him westward, where he established a life insurance company in Los Angeles, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to securing the futures of his clients. In the later years of his life, he embraced a different rhythm, spending over a decade in Las Vegas as a limousine driver. In this unique role, he always wore a smile, with a kindness that endeared him to passengers and friends alike.

Beyond his career, Jack’s passions were as diverse as they were genuine. He found joy in the craftsmanship of woodworking, the quiet intrigue of collecting coins, and in the lively excitement of gambling and bingo. These interests not only brought him happiness but also connected him to the community that cherished him.

Those who knew Jack remember him as a beacon of kindness and humor. His ever-present smile and gentle nature drew people in, while his great sense of humor added lightness and laughter to every encounter. Everyone absolutely loved him—not just for what he did, but for who he was.

Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Munag Hachikian, and his niece, Cristin Renee. He is survived by a family who cherished him deeply: his loving wife Tina Hachikian; his daughter Talene Hachikian; his brother Charles Hachikian and sister-in-law Brenda; his sister-in-law Sona Hachikian; and his nieces and nephews Michael (Melissa), Steven (Jean), Susan, and Peter Tony. His legacy of love extends through his great nieces and nephews, Julianne (Jedediah) Gabriel, David, Paul, Maria, and Charlianne Rose, and his great-great niece and nephew Olivia and Grant, as well as large circle of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

The community will have an opportunity to honor and remember Jack’s remarkable life through the following services: A visitation will be held on June 23, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park, located at 6200 S Eastern Ave in Las Vegas. The funeral service will follow on June 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Geragos Armenian Apostolic Church, 6820 Ponderosa Way, Las Vegas. Finally, Jack will be laid to rest at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, with burial commencing at 11:00 a.m. on the same day. Following the Graveside service, family and friends are warmly invited to the Hachikian residence for a light lunch to celebrate Jack.
