Retired James D. McGeahy, 69, a resident of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
He was born April 26, 1941, in Milwaukee, and was a 29year resident of Nevada. James retired in 1981 from the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of master sergeant.
James married Laura Whelan Sept. 17, 1982, in Las Vegas. He later worked for EGG as a consultant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Audrey McGeahy and son, Stewart McGeahy.
James is survived by his wife, of 28 years, Laura McGeahy sons, James E. Brenda McGeahy and Shaun McGeahy daughters, Melissa Lixfield and Renee Carlos Sarria and six grandchildren, Miranda, Logan, Jacob, Brayden, Conor and Regan.
