James David Moore

On Saturday March 28th, 2020 James Moore, loving husband and father of 3 children was called home at the age of 57.

James was born on October 6, 1962 in Birmingham, AL to James Chestnut & Chestina Moore. He graduated from Clark HS in 1981. After high school he received his culinary skills and went on to become a chef for over 20 years.

On July 15th, 2000 James married Chantay Moore. They had 3 beautiful children together & 4 grandchildren. They raised their family together in home full of love, laughs & wisdom. He enjoyed family time & taking trips to create happy memories.

James not only had a passion for cooking but loved family time. You could always count on James for a good meal and great advice. A simple conversation with him you leave with a smile and learning something new. James definitely left his mark on more than a few hearts.

James is preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his wife Chantay Moore, his son David Moore, his daughters Shamira Moore & Ikeshia Moore. His brother Eric Moore and 2 sisters Meyarn Moore and Madeline Berkeley. As well as his 4 grandchildren Jazel, Kemari, Messiah and David Jr. and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
