The world lost a wonderful Husband, Brother, Uncle, Father, Gpa and Great Gpa. James (Mike) Michael on July 9, 2022, at the age of 77. Mike had recently lost his wife Barb of 52 years in October of 2021. They raised 2 great children, Melvin Richards (Wife Marcia) and Tina Evans (Husband Johnnie) with love and devotion. He is survived by his sister Judy Peterson (husband Brian). He loved spending time, kidding around and telling stories to his 4 grandkids, Jenna Anderson (Husband Jake), James Richards (Wife Kelsey), Liana Rodriguez (Husband Javier) and Jessie Newman (Husband Wyatt). His Great-Grandkids brought him happiness and lots of laughter, Anabell Rodriquez, Tucker Richards, Ranson Anderson, Sophia Richards, Rinoa Anderson, Lilah Richards and Ethan Newman.  Mike was born to the late Melvin Richards and Dena Richards in Galesburg, Illinois on November 17,1944. Mike was predeceased by his brothers, Charles Richards, Melvin Lloyd Richards and Ronald Richards. He loved country music, storytelling, football, and spending time with his family and friends.

Family said their goodbyes at a private celebration of life.
