Janet Ann Gonzales, 82, of North Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, with her husband David A. Gonzales by her side.
Jan was born on May 7, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas and spent her early life traveling with her Father James Lewis and Mother Gladys Lewis to many countries while her father served as an Air Force Pilot.
Jan excelled in art in school and later in life produced artwork for many friends and family. She was a model for a brief time and even appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. She was in the Casino business for over 38 years at the Las Vegas Hilton and was a dealer as well as a Floor Person. In her retirement, she took many classes in Venetian Plaster and won awards with some of the artwork she created. In 2001, she married David Gonzales, and they shared their lives together until her passing.
As a believer in Christ, she loved the Word and studied the Bible whenever she could. Her greatest desire was for her family to have a saving relationship with Christ. Despite health issues later in life, she continued to trust the Lord in all circumstances. She believed heavily in the faithfulness of God in her life regardless of the trails and tribulations she was experiencing.
