Jason Luke Conger, Jr. was born on March 22, 1993, the first-born child to Natasha Smith and the oldest of five, Jason carried this role with love, care, and a quiet strength that shaped who his family became. Jason was a light where light was needed most. He carried a unique presence, a way of seeing the world that was thoughtful, creative, and deeply human. Jason cared fiercely, loved deeply, and left an imprint on everyone who knew him. Like many, Jason struggled with mental illness and often fought battles invisible to the world; and while those struggles were real and heavy, they did not define who Jason was.
Jason is defined as someone who loved blues and purples, whose favorite food was mashed potatoes and Whoppers from Burger King. Jason loved Invader Zim and Disney, and Egyptology. Jason loved going down rabbit holes at 2am because he got an idea or a question in his mind he had to chase until its very end.
Jason was far more than his pain, he was a son, a brother, a friend, and a soul that matters immensely.
Jason is predeceased by his father, Jason Luke Conger, Sr., his grandfather Steven Smith, his great grandparents William and Arden Smith, as well as his cats Sugar and Minnie. He is survived by his mother, Natasha Arden Smith, his stepfather Joseph Robert Payton, Sr., and his brothers and sisters, Isabella Arden Rojas, William Robert Wigginton, Lydia Isabelle Farris, Johnathan Payton, Jesse Steven Payton, Kaleb Axel Rojas, and Steve Lucas Taylor.
